To commemorate the 15th anniversary of the debut of “The Brutal King of Kawagoe”, we have announced that we will simultaneously release a best album and a collection of rare recordings on December 18th!
The first best collection released to commemorate the 15th anniversary of their debut is “Retributive Justice” (3rd album: 2015), “Where Warriors Once Dreamed a Dream” produced by the current members. (4th album: 2016), “Semizu no Jin – The Final Stand” (5th album: 2018), “Yomi Gaheri – Back From The Underworld” (6th album: 2023), plus selections released in 2009 Contains re-recorded songs from “Mouryou” (1st album) and “Legend of Shadow” (2nd album) released in 2013.
Hiroki Akita’s drumming, which requires a lot of effort but is heavy and resounding, develops rapidly, Keiichi Enjouji’s solid guitar, which spins furiously fast playing and melodious phrases, and the driving force is the terrifying growl and transcendental slapping bass. Haruo Takahata’s vocals and bass work together to produce a unique, extreme sound with an outstanding driving feel. In addition, the songs’ titles and lyrics are a mix of kanji and kana, which amplifies the ominous nature, and the Japanese costumes, all of which allow us to reaffirm their unique originality.
