4-person rock band I Don’t Like Mondays.’s first Asian tour “FOCUS” ASIA TOUR

Domestic performances will begin on October 19th (Saturday) in Sapporo.

They celebrated their 10th anniversary since their major debut in September, and in January of this year they held their first one-man overseas tour in mainland China, with all performances sold out. In February, he provided the music for Snow Man’s 10th single, “LOVE TRIGGER,” and in the spring, he held an “Island Tour” in 13 cities outside of Honshu.

In September, he held his first free live concert in his career, and has been involved in a wide range of activities, including providing the song “Just Like That” to Hiromitsu Kitayama, with whom he has been friends for some time.

On the 9th of this month, they released the EP “FOCUS”, which is the culmination of their anniversary year, and the lead song “Shadow” is the opening song for the currently airing Kantere Fuji TV drama “Monster”.

CHOJI (Gt.), KENJI (Bas.), and SHUKI (Dr.) appeared with a magnificent sound effect that made you feel the weight of the 10th anniversary, and then frontman YU (Vo.) appeared, and the first part of the EP “FOCUS” appeared. The live performance started with the song “Someday”.

The two-person acoustic section of YU and CHOJI and a diverse setlist that mixes the old and new set Sapporo on fire, and during the MC, everyone expressed their gratitude to the fans who have been with them for 10 years, and the show lasted about an hour and a half. The curtain closed.

The “FOCUS” ASIA TOUR” domestic performances will include 10 performances in 8 cities, ending with the Zepp DiverCity performance in Tokyo on December 1st (Sunday). Performances in Asia will be announced at a later date.

In addition, before the first airing of Kantele Fuji TV’s monthly drama “Monster”, the music video for the opening song “Shadow” will be released.

The “shadow” is expressed in a worldview created like a movie.

Kantele/Fuji TV’s 10th monthly drama “Monster” became the number 1 domestic trend on X (formerly Twitter) as soon as it was first aired, and it continued to rank on distribution services such as TVer.

The opening scene featuring “Shadow” will also change every week, so you won’t be able to keep an eye on it as it unfolds.
