This movie is an original story that was written based on the real-life experiences of all the 4th generation students, but in reality, I had been working on Hinakoi for two years, so I created a world where everyone is classmates and aims for the same goal. It seemed like a good fit, so I decided to use the theme of a school trip. We asked the game development team to create an expanded interpretation of a world slightly outside of the movie, so experiencing this collaboration is now the best way to understand this story deeply.
