Universal Music LLC (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takashi Fujikura / hereinafter referred to as Universal Music) has released Ado’s first CD single, “Sakura Weather and Time Machine with Hatsune Miku/Early Summer.” ” will be released on October 24th (Thursday).
Singer Ado held his largest national arena tour this summer. I will be releasing my first CD single on October 24th, my 22nd birthday.
This work is a double A-side single that includes the collaboration song “Sakura Biyori to Time Machine with Hatsune Miku” and “Early Summer”, which is the first song released as a song written and composed by Ado. The jacket comes in 6 different styles, each featuring a new illustration by Ado’s image director, ORIHARA, and the limited edition comes with an acrylic stand.
“Sakura Biyori and Time Machine with Hatsune Miku” is a dream collaboration with Hatsune Miku, who performed at her solo performance “Ado SPECIAL LIVE 2024 ‘Kokoro'”, which was the first solo performance by a female solo artist to perform at the National Stadium. The song is provided by ‘Mafumafu’. The music video has Ado and Hatsune Miku reminiscing about the past and cherry blossoms, creating a work that connects the two through song.
“Early Summer” is a song performed on the first national arena tour “Mona Lisa no Profile” that started in July. This song existed when Ado was 17 years old, and was completed after rewriting it as an adult. He is active as a guitarist and arranger, and is an arranger for the anime “Bocchi Za Rock! Ritsuo Mitsui (pronounced: Ritsuo Mitsui), who also arranged most of the band songs that appear in the movie, was in charge of the arrangement. It is a work with an alternative rock band sound that seems to express a distorted youth. The music video was created by Toru, the artist who also did the jacket illustration for “Ado’s Utattemita Album.”
From 19:30 on October 24th (Thursday) on the release date, we will exclusively distribute the live video of “Ado SPECIAL LIVE 2024 ‘Kokoro'” held in April this year on U-NEXT.
