■Gorgeous artists gather in Sukima Switch’s hometown of Aichi Prefecture! “Dream Festival” will be aired for 135 minutes
Sukima Switch held their first outdoor festival, “Sukima Fes”, in their hometown of Aichi Prefecture. It has been decided that the two-day luxury festival, which attracted approximately 45,000 people, will be broadcast on NHKBS and BSP4K in November.
A collection of super-luxurious artists that transcend genres and generations, including Yuzu, SUPER BEAVER, JUJU, Kobukuro, Kazumasa Oda, Midori-Koh Society, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, sumika, Ikimonogakari, and Tamio Okuda. There was a spectacular live performance, including collaborations between Sukima Switch and guests that can only be seen here, as well as covers of hit numbers and famous songs.
The program includes footage from the outdoor festival held over two days in 4K. Along with the live performance, we will also deliver interviews with Sukima Switch and backstage interactions and comments with guests. A long-awaited festival that Sukima Switch dreamed of. The festival, which was created with lots of love, will be presented in vivid 4K video with a rich sense of reality. The program will be narrated by Moka Kamishiraishi.
■Sukima Switch appears on “The Covers”! Cover of KAN’s famous song “Love Will Win”
Prior to the broadcast of “Sukima Fes”, Sukima Switch appeared on “The Covers”. One year after departing for heaven, Sukima Switch will cover KAN’s famous song “Love Will Win”, which he respects, and will also talk about the influences he has received from KAN and anecdotes about their interactions.
In addition, SHISHAMO, who will celebrate his 10th anniversary since his major debut in 2023, will appear as a tribute guest. Sukima Switch’s hit song “Zenryoku Shonen” will be performed with SHISHAMO’s unique 3-piece rock sound.
The joint talk between Sukima Switch and SHISHAMO was also a huge success. In addition, the highlights of “Sukima Fes” will be introduced along with a highlight video, and the two members of Sukima Switch will look back on the festival, express their gratitude to their friends, and talk about the secret behind the festival’s production.
