[Mutsumi Hirose]Long-awaited 1st album “Daki Shime Iku, Dignified” released today

Singer-songwriter Mutsumi Hirose’s 1st album was released today.

Including the pre-released songs “Release Fireflies into the Air”, the emotional piano rock ballad “Koko wa Honey”, the blues song “My East” with its humorous and powerful lyrics, and the cool guitar song. This work consists of 11 songs with a wide variety, including “Zara Zara”, which has an impressive tone.

In the recording, talented Kansai musicians such as Senoo Ricky, Daiki Yoshii, and Miki Nanami, who also provide live support as part of the Hirose Mutsumi (ensemble), participated, and their harmonious grooves brought out her carefree singing and expressive vocals. The charm of the song is brought out even more.

On November 8th (Friday) and December 6th (Friday), there will be a record live performance in Kyoto with ensemble and solo.

I’m going to dig into it, dignifiedly

I think singing about love is singing about yourself.

I’m sure it’s for everyone.

I can’t write or sing about things I don’t understand. On the other hand, it is frightening that by writing what I can write or singing what I can sing, others can realize what I know and what I can feel.

But I think that’s always what it means to create something. This is not a steamy romantic story, but a heart-stoppingly simple one.

Let’s write what we can now. This album is made up of songs that I wrote with that in mind. Even if in the not-too-distant future you feel embarrassed when you listen to it again, you’ll probably be in the process of getting to grips with that feeling. “Dakishime Iku” is not “hug me” or “I will hug you”, but it is a statement of determination that I made within myself.

By writing and singing about myself, rather than about someone else, if something happens in the time of someone who listens.

If that happens, I think it might be worth releasing this collection of songs into the world.

I would be happy if you could listen to my first “album,” which I created with a lot of help from my friends.

Mutsumi Hirose

Singer-Songwriter. Born in Osaka in 1998.

He gained musical experience in rhythmic music and piano since childhood, and began performing live with his own compositions in the summer of 2017. His characteristic is his straightforward words and honest and straightforward voice.

In 2019, he released his 1st EP “Azayaka”, a piano-accompanied work.

In 2021, they released their 2nd EP “Koten” with Kyoto-based drummer Senoo Ricky as a guest, and began performing live as a duo.

From August 2022, he will stay in southern France for one year to study. During this period, he produced two sound source works called “Eameru Sound Source Collection”.

In 2023, as Mutsumi Hirose (ensemble), in addition to senoo ricky, she will start a band set that will include guitarist Daiki Yoshii (from Yutai Communications) and bassist SSW Nanamiki as support members.

In July 2024, the single song “Squall” was released. At the end of October of the same year, they released their 1st album “Daki Shime Iku, Dōdōton”.
