L’Arc~en~Ciel has announced details of their Tokyo Dome performance on January 18th and 19th, 2025.
The title of the live is “L’Arc~en~Ciel LIVE 2025 hyde BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION-hyde birthday festival-“. As the name suggests, it will be a birthday celebration for Hyde (Vo), whose birthday is on January 29th.
Their Tokyo Dome performance will be their first in about 3 years since “30th L’Anniversary LIVE” held in 2022 to commemorate the band’s 30th anniversary.
Up until now, L’Arc~en~Ciel’s live shows have been held with various concepts, but the theme of this dome performance was an unexpected “birthday festival” as the title suggests, and it was the first time in their more than 30-year career. This is an attempt.
Regarding this live performance, hyde commented, “On the day, I will be selfish and produce L’Arc as I like.” Expectations are high to see what kind of “selfish” live performance the band’s first ever “Birthday Festival” will be.
