■In 2024, the first commercialized live sound source of 3 covers of famous Christmas songs will be included!
The 2024 version of the eternal Christmas standard “Christmas Eve” that shines in pop history, “Christmas Eve (2024 Version)”, will be released on December 11th.
“Christmas Eve” is a seasonal product released around this time every year. In 2023, a 12-inch analog version was released as a 40th anniversary edition, but in 2024, in addition to “Christmas Eve” and “White Christmas,” Christmas songs from the album “SEASON’S GREETINGS” released in 1993 will be released. Three songs will be selected and a CD containing their live versions will be released.
Additional songs limited to 2024 include Alexander O’Neill’s “My Gift to You,” released in 1988.
“Bella Notte” was used as an insert song in the 1955 Walt Disney Productions animated film “A Tale of Wanderers,” and was sung by Judy Garland in the 1943 musical film “Meet Me in St. Louis.” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”
All three songs are taken from the live performance at Osaka Festival Hall on December 19, 2013, and are the first live versions to be commercialized.
“Christmas Eve” will record an unprecedented 38 consecutive years in the Oricon Weekly Singles Ranking Top 100 in 2023. In 2024, much attention is being focused on setting a record for being ranked in the ranking for 39 consecutive years. Furthermore, “Christmas Eve (2024 Version)” will be a limited edition, so those who are interested should check it out as soon as possible.
