DVD & Blu-ray release of the stage play “Matsuri GALA” starring and directed by Snow Man Teru Iwamoto, Tatsuya Fukasawa, and Ryota Miyadate has been decided

The DVD and Blu-ray of the play “Matsuri GALA”, starring and directed by Snow Man’s Teru Iwamoto, Tatsuya Fukasawa, and Ryota Miyadate, and held at the Shinbashi Enbujo in Tokyo in April 2024, will be released on December 11th. It has been decided.

“Matsuri GALA” is a new stage production created by Snow Man, who has been the chairman of “Takizawa Kabuki ZERO,” which has become a spring tradition at Shinbashi Enbujo. It is a new type of entertainment that is worth a lot of money, combining Japanese and Western styles and showing off their personalities and bodies.

The initials of the three people’s names, “hi” for Teru, “ri” for Ryota, and “ta” for Tatsuya, are incorporated into part of the characters in the performance name logo “Matsuri”. This title is handwritten by Junko Koshino, and it embodies the special collaboration of this performance.

Throughout the entire film, he shows off intense performances, such as his fighting moves and sanbaso, which make use of his high physical ability. Iwamoto performed the “henmen” technique that he also showed in “Takizawa Kabuki ZERO,” where the masks change one after another. Fukasawa’s monologue filled the venue with a peaceful atmosphere. Miyadate demonstrated flying using a pole. They also performed solo songs. This work allows you to fully enjoy the individuality and charm of the three characters.

The first edition of “Matsuri GALA” DVD & Blu-ray to be released this time (sleeve specification, 24P booklet included) includes the main stage footage (108 minutes), as well as bonus footage by Teru Iwamoto, Tatsuya Fukasawa, and Ryota Miyadate.
