■HY will release their 16th original album “TIME” on January 29, 2025 to commemorate their 25th anniversary!
The new song “Koi wo Shite” by Okinawan band HY, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2024, has been selected as the theme song for the movie “366 Days”, which will be released nationwide from January 10, 2025. The announcement was made at the stage greeting at the fastest preview screening held today.
It has also been revealed that the original album “TIME”, which will also include “Koi wo Shite”, will be released on January 29, 2025.
The movie “366 Days” is a completely new original love story based on the song “366 Days”. Main character Makiya Eiji Akaso will play Minato, while Moka Kamishiraishi will play Miu Tamashiro, the heroine who meets Minato in high school and falls in love with him, as well as Yuto Nakajima and Tea Tamashiro. A gorgeous cast of actors from a wide range of generations, including Na, Raisen Inagaki, Jun Saito, Junpei Mizobata, Hikari Ishida, Ryoko Kuninaka, and Tetta Sugimoto, bring depth and color to the 20-year story of Minato and Miumi. Set in the two cities of Okinawa and Tokyo, a heartbreaking pure love story that transcends 20 years is delivered.
The movie’s theme song, “Koi wo Shite,” is a ballad written by Izumi Nakasone (Key & Vocals) that reflects the intersecting feelings that are depicted in the movie while living time with a lover and time with family. One step from the famous song “366 Days,” which was released as a heartbreak song in 2008 and is still sung by many people, “Even if it doesn’t come true <365 days are not enough love”. This song, which can be seen as a step forward, is an answer song to “366 Days,” which was born after 16 years, and can be said to be the final chapter of a love story.
