■“This is a work where many “1s” from the staff and cast come together to become a huge “1”” (Kenta Kiritani)

A premiere event will be held the day before the broadcast of the original drama “Informa – Beasts Living in the Darkness”, which will start airing on ABEMA from 11:00 pm on November 7th, from 5:00 pm on November 6th. The event, which was streamed live on ABEMA and multiple SNS, was a huge success with a total of over 1.35 million viewers.

Kenta Kiritani, Reo Sano, Riko, Hiroyuki Ikeuchi, and Kazunari Ninomiya, who appear in this work, as well as the original author/supervisor Garyu Okita, the planner/producer Michito Fujii, and the director Hajime Osaka will be on stage. When they walked the red carpet at the venue and appeared in front of about 200 fans, the venue was filled with excitement.

At the event, we will talk about behind-the-scenes stories from the shooting and the role of the main character, Keijiro Kihara, who is a mysterious informer who is familiar with all kinds of information and manipulates society behind the scenes. A corner was held where information about the performers and episodes were discussed.

First, when asked about his thoughts on this work, Okita, the original writer and supervisor, commented, “I’ve returned to ABEMA for the first time in two years, and I hope we’ll end this year with “Informa”.” . Next, lead actor Kiritani said, “The festival has begun!” similar to Kihara’s line in the drama, and then added, “Thank you for coming today. I’ve created a piece of work,” he said. Sano then spoke from the bottom of his heart, saying, “I have had the opportunity to film overseas and have had a valuable experience, and I sincerely hope that it will reach everyone.”

In addition, Riko, who will be appearing in this work, expressed her enthusiasm, saying, “Since it’s finally starting tomorrow, I’m not really feeling it, but today I’ll do my best to deliver the charm to everyone,” and Ikeuchi said, “The movie will be released starting tomorrow.” I’m nervous about that, but I want a lot of people to watch it.I watched it first and it’s really interesting!” Continuing, Ninomiya said, “It’s a real honor to be able to appear in “Informa,” which I was overwhelmed by the fun of the previous work and continued to get addicted to, and I want to liven it up. I think it’s a work of art, so I hope you enjoy it.”

■The story behind the production of the sequel
Original author/supervisor Garyu Okita, planner/producer Michito Fujii, and director Hajime Osaka share the story behind the production of the sequel. Okita explained the process, saying, “Thanks to you, we won the second place on Netflix in February, and we decided that this had to be the first place, so we started working on it.” Fujii said, “Kenta (Kiritani) and Reo (Sano) had a lot of enthusiasm for this work, and I was more disappointed than happy that we came in second place, so I remember asking Kenta and Reo to do it.” I looked back on those days.

Kiritani said, “Before the sequel was decided, during the campaign for the previous work, Reo and I talked on the radio about how if we were to do a sequel, we’d imagine Kihara and Ponkotsu walking around Southeast Asia. Then I was asked if I would like to do a sequel in Thailand, and I thought, “Were you listening to that radio?!”, he said enthusiastically, but Fujii said, “I wasn’t listening to that radio!” There are also situations where you will be asked “I’m sorry…”. However, Okita quickly followed up by saying, “I was listening to you! Mr. Fujii also said that he wanted to see the scene where Ponkotsu (Sano) is shot in Bangkok, right?”, showing the good teamwork.

■Talking about a secret episode from the shoot
Also, when asked about a secret anecdote from the time of filming, Okita shared an impactful anecdote, saying, “The Shinkansen changed from non-reserved seats to green cars.I thought this was the kind of thing that would sell.” Fujii said, “I wanted to bully Mishima, played by Reo (Sano), so I told Okita-sensei and that’s how it happened (lol).” Director Osaka cited the “tuk-tuk car chase scene” as a memorable scene, saying, “With the cooperation of the local police, we were able to block off a main street and freely film on a scale that could not be filmed in Japan. I was able to take some powerful pictures, so I hope you look forward to it.” Looking back on the shoot, Sano said, “I was worried that it would fall off at any moment because it was more rattled than I expected.Kenta (Kiritani) was leaning over and riding in a mischievous way, which made my heart pound.”

Regarding the “dive scene into a river where even the locals can’t go”, Kiritani said, “In the scene where you dive into the river in the second episode, the locals were like, “Huh, are you guys going to go in?” “When I was in touch with Nino, I sent him photos of about 50 people in prison, some of whom had tattoos.” Show off the episode. Looking back on those days, Ninomiya said, “I’m going to be in this!? I thought, “Is this what my part would be like?””

Riko mentioned “the panties scene where Sano-san plays Mishima,” and said, “There’s a scene where he comes out wearing just his panties and hides it with a bathrobe, but when we repeated it about three times during filming, he couldn’t hide it at all and we both burst out laughing.” Sano also laughed and said, “I was numb from the Thai heat and didn’t have the desire to hide it anymore (lol).”

Ikeuchi said, “I found an iguana that was about the same size as me,” and “I was looking at my phone while waiting for a photoshoot outside, and SUMIRE was across from me, and suddenly it stopped moving. Then I noticed that the costume rack was falling apart and it looked like an iguana… I’m posting it on my SNS, so please watch it later (lol). .

Ninomiya said, “I was surprised at how tough everyone was when they came back from filming in Thailand when we were filming on location from night until morning,” adding, “I was filming from evening until morning, and it was really tough. Yes, there are a lot of people and the activities are dangerous, but the staff say it’s tougher in Thailand because they have overcome the harshness of Thailand. It felt great to be filming the Japanese part of the movie, and to see everyone working so confidently,” he said, praising the teamwork of the cast and staff for this movie.

■What are some surprising aspects or stories about your co-stars?
Furthermore, when Okita was asked about an unexpected side of the cast, he confessed something he had been unable to tell Ikeuchi for a long time. “When I first met Mr. Ikeuchi in Bangkok, I knew his profile, so I said, “You were born in 1976, right?” and we exchanged, “You’re Okita-san, too!” I was born in February, and since I was born early, I thought to myself, ‘I’m one year older!’ but I couldn’t say it until now,” he said, causing laughter at the scene.

Regarding Okita, Fujii said, “He wrote the book at lightning speed from my words, “I want to involve Ponkotsu (Sano) in a gunfight,” and the content is timely for today’s times. At the time of the release, I was able to use my ability to think 1.5 steps ahead and my sense of speed to think about what was going to happen, and within a month I was able to create the basis for the novel and hand it over to the director.” Make it.

Osaka said, “I had Mr. Sano do everything I could think of, such as dropping him into a gutter, stripping him naked, and torturing him, but I had him do all kinds of things.I thought he would reject something, but he did it all. He praised Sano. Sano said, “Perhaps Hajime (Osaka) and (Michito) Fujii are really sadistic. But I might also be a sadistic person (lol),” adding, “We had good teamwork in the previous work, and that’s how we met.” There are many staff members who treat me well even in my private life, so I guess it’s because we have a relationship of trust.”

Kiritani continued by saying of Ninomiya, “He’s always in a good mood and waving at me.I’ve been working with him for four years in a row, and each time it’s during the year-end season in November or December.I have a lot of different roles. However, I was able to see a new Nino, and I learned a lot. She played Nino for the first time despite her tight schedule. Even when she left for a different location in the morning, she was very happy. She seemed to be in a good mood and waved to me, saying, “See you soon!” On the way home, I was talking to her manager, saying, “You’re such a nice girl.” Regarding this, Ninomiya said, “It must have been fun on set. Of course, it might have been difficult considering the time of day, but it’s fun to have an environment where you can perform with various people, so I waved and went home. I guess that’s what happened (lol),” he said. Ninomiya looked back on chairperson Kiritani, saying, “He understood what the actors were thinking, and it was a scene with a lot of possibilities.”

Ikeuchi shared information about Koumi Hyodo, who plays Yukichi, a subordinate of Takuma Onizuka, played by Ikeuchi. Hyodo said that he had never been to the Thai resort town of Phuket, and since it was quite a distance from Bangkok, where he was filming the film, Ikeuchi said, “If I were suddenly called up (for a shoot), I wouldn’t be able to come back.” It’s tough!”, but then he told the story of his trip to Phuket, and the audience erupted in laughter.

Regarding Kiritani, Riko said, “It’s hot in Thailand, so we have a service that cools down the room, but when we were just greeting each other, on the location bus, I said, “It’s okay, Riko-chan, aren’t you cold?” He did that every time I entered the room, which I thought was really cool.”

Ninomiya mentioned co-starring with Kazuya Takahashi, his senior, and said, “I was in the same agency as my senior, Kazuya Takahashi, and the people at the agency used to call me “Kazuya, Kazuya” because we had the same kanji. “I was thinking, “I’m Kazunari,” but then Kamenashi came in, and Kazuya was Kazuya.” “Sandwiched between Kazuya and Kazuya, if it was Othello, I would also be Kazuya.” (laughs) I was planning to tell him when I met him, but when I met him, he asked me, “Are you doing your best?” All I could say was “I’m doing my best!” It was an honor and a privilege to meet senior Go Morita ‘Naka’ through acting work, and I was very happy. We talked about many things,” he said, sharing his precious story.

■Message to viewers
Finally, when asked about his message to the viewers, Okita said, “I’m sitting here with confidence. Depending on the response, I’m thinking of making the next start at any time, so I ask for your support,” and Fujii said, “ I sent a message to Director Osaka saying, “It’s so amazing that it makes me laugh!”

Sano said, “I am honored to be able to participate in a work that continues to be more powerful than the previous work, and I think it is rare to have such an experience in my life, and I am grateful for the opportunity to meet the wonderful cast and staff, and I will continue to work hard. I hope this will reach many people, so please lend me your support.”

Next, Riko commented, “I’ve watched up to episode 4, but I can’t tell what happened, so I hope it reaches as many people as possible.” Ikeuchi said, “The show starts tomorrow, but without making any jokes, it’s a really interesting work. We’ll get to the heart of the story in episodes 5 and 6, and you won’t want to miss the second half, so please look forward to it.”

Ninomiya said, “I think there are a certain number of people who don’t like this genre, but I think it’s a work that catches your eye even if you don’t want to see it, and you can see the content of the work even if you don’t want to see it. I would say it’s a distorted darkness, but everyone embodies that, and I think it’s very rewarding just to follow who is going through what, so I hope you’ll watch it. ” commented.

Osaka said, “I think this work is easy to reach even for people who don’t usually watch movies or dramas, so it’s a work that you won’t get bored of.If you watch just one episode, I think you’ll be hooked, so please support us.” Thank you for your support.” At the end, Kiritani said, “I would like you to watch the previous work, but even if you haven’t seen it, you can enjoy this work. It’s good, and I think it’s interesting to watch the previous movie after watching this one. Also, everyone is the main character, and this movie is made up of so many attractive characters that you can make a spin-off of any of the characters. “It’s a work that combines many “1”s of the cast into a huge “1.” It’s a work with great power and energy, so please watch the first episode!”
