BABYMONSTER’s first full-length album “DRIP”, released on November 1st (November 2nd in Japan), recorded sales of approximately 820,000 copies in its first week.
BABYMONSTER released the MV and special stage video for the double titles “DRIP” and “CLIK CLAK” in conjunction with the release, captivating fans with their overwhelming quality. This time, “DRIP” recorded a total of 677,961 copies sold in one week according to Hunt Chart. Their debut album “BABYMONS7ER”, released in April, had first week sales of 401,287 copies, and sales continue to grow at a rate of about 1.7 times.
This record is the result of participation in fan meetings and music events held in Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, and Singapore from summer to fall this year, as well as active activities on YouTube and other sites. It will be interesting to see how far the record will extend.
