Stray Kids’ second Japanese album “GIANT” released on November 13th has been a success all over the world, both domestically and internationally. In terms of distribution, it topped the iTunes song charts overall in 9 countries/regions. Furthermore, it has topped the iTunes album charts overall in 19 countries and regions, including Japan and the United States (as of November 14th).
This is the first time in 2024 that a Japanese work by a K-pop artist has topped the American iTunes album chart.
Additionally, in Japan, they achieved three titles on iTunes (iTunes Overall Top Album Ranking, iTunes POP Top Album Ranking, and iTunes K-POP Top Album Ranking). Furthermore, they won three titles on Apple Music (Apple Music Overall Album Ranking, Apple Music Pop Album Ranking, Apple Music K-Pop Album Ranking).
In addition, it has also reached number one on the LINE MUSIC Real Time Album TOP 100, LINE MUSIC Daily Album TOP 100, and AWA Real Time Trending Songs Top 100, causing a “GIANT whirlwind.”
