Mahiru Koda has announced the release of her new EP “STOP ME”. The lead single “SIDE EYE” from the same work will be distributed in advance on November 22nd (Friday).
The EP also includes the title songs “STOP ME” and “I LIKE IT LIKE THAT,” which were created through their first collaboration with up-and-coming producer LYNN. Mahiru Koda’s unique hip-hop and R&B essence is added to the track created by LYNN, resulting in a work that highlights Mahiru Koda’s style.
In addition, the lead single “SIDE EYE” is the first collaboration song in a while with producer SUNNY BOY, with whom they collaborated on “Snowdome” in the past. It is characterized by an approach that incorporates dance track elements, which is a little different from the calm atmosphere of “Snowdome.” Mahiru Koda’s vocals blend into the sound that makes you feel the cold, clear winter air, creating a delicate and seasonal feel. It is said to be an attractive song with sophisticated sound production.

In addition, Mahiru Koda will hold her 2nd one-man live “STOP ME” at Shibuya WWW in Tokyo on December 15th (Sunday). The new song “SIDE EYE” and songs from the EP “STOP ME” will also be performed. Tickets are currently on sale.
