The five-member dance and vocal group “MADKID”, which is responsible for the opening theme for the TV anime “The Rising of the Shield Hero” series and the currently airing TV anime “Haigakura”, will hold a one-man live on November 17, 2024 to commemorate their 10th anniversary. It was held at Otemachi Mitsui Hall in Tokyo.
MADKID was formed in July 2014. After several member changes, SHIN joined in 2017, creating the current structure.
They made their major debut in 2018, and their third single “RISE” was selected as the opening theme for the TV anime “The Rising of the Shield Hero” and became a hit mainly in the United States. The total number of views of the song on YouTube has exceeded 30 million times.
Since then, he has been in charge of many anime theme songs, and is currently expanding his range of activities around the world, appearing at events not only in Japan but also overseas, such as the United States, Canada, and Germany.
These five members have celebrated their 10th anniversary.
Celebrating their 10th anniversary, the one-man live will be held in two performances, one in the daytime and one in the evening.The daytime performance will consist of a set list that traces the group’s history, from their early days to the latest songs. They performed a live performance packed with 10 years of history.
On the other hand, the night performance featured a hard performance based on their recently released album “DROPOUT”, and they showed off their “MADKID-like” live performance.
At the end of the performance, it was announced that a tour would be held in 2025 in six cities: Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Miyazaki.
The fastest advance application reception for fan clubs will start from November 18th.
It has also been announced that the band will be holding a tour in 2025 that will visit 11 cities in North America in Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
We will continue to keep an eye on the progress of the five members as they enter their 11th year.
