The K-POP award ceremony “2024 MAMA AWARDS” has revealed the names and members of the global boy group collaboration band formed for this award ceremony.
“2024 MAMA AWARDS” has established itself as a much-talked-about award ceremony that global music fans look forward to, with its differentiated highlights and diverse performances every year. The other day, through the press premiere, a boy group collaboration band’s stage performance was announced.
The name of the collaboration band is “Self-Luminous TOENZE”, which was formed by members of global boy groups such as TOMORROW The band name was devised through direct discussion between the members.
Self-luminous TOENZE members include BEOMYU and HUENINGKAI of TOMORROW It is expected that the members of the group, who have overwhelming performances and versatile abilities, will come together and put on a stage that transcends the boundaries of each other and genre.
They plan to travel back in time to 1995 and incorporate the sensibilities of that time and the curiosity of their student days on stage. Expectations are high as to what instruments each member will play on stage.
The members I met at the pre-VTR shooting site had something in common that all of them had won the Newcomer Award at the “MAMA AWARDS”, and at the same time I was surprised and became close to each other.Among them, BEOMYU and HUENINGKAI of TOMORROW TAE RAE shared his experience of being part of a band when he was a student, and said that he was even more determined to create a wonderful stage performance.
ENHYPEN’s JAY is obsessed with the guitar, and ZEROBASEONE’s HAN YU JIN is showing off his youngest son’s ambition. The stage performance of self-luminous TOENZE, a 5-member band appearing in a unique form never seen before, will be unveiled at CHAPTER 1, which will be held at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan on November 22nd.
The 2024 MAMA AWARDS, which was announced as the first K-POP award ceremony to be held in the United States, will be broadcast live across the world via relay distribution from the United States to Japan. It will be held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, USA on November 22nd, Japan time, and at the Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan on November 22nd and 23rd, with performances by aespa, Anderson .Paak, BIBI, BOYNEXTDOOR, BYEON WOO SEOK, ENHYPEN, G-DRAGON, (G)I-DLE, ILLIT, INI, IVE, izna, JY Park, KATSEYE, Lee Young Ji, ME:I, MEOVV, PLAVE, RIIZE, SEVENTEEN, TOMORROW
“2024 MAMA AWARDS” will be broadcast live around the world not only on Mnet but also on YouTube channel Mnet K-POP and Mnet TV. In Japan, it is scheduled to be broadcast and distributed on CS broadcast Mnet, video distribution service Mnet Smart+, and Ponta Pass.
