The music video for Kenshi Yonezu’s new song “Azalea”, which was released on November 18th, has been released.
“Azalea” is the theme song for the Netflix series “Sayonara no Tsuzuki”, which is currently being distributed. This music video was directed by film director Yuka Yamaguchi, and captures the blue-tinged streets of Yonezu before dawn.
“Sayonara no Tsuzuki” stars Kasumi Arimura and Kentaro Sakaguchi, and tells the story of a woman who lost her beloved lover in an accident, and a man whose life was saved by that lover, in Otaru, Hawaii. A beautiful yet heartrending love story between two people who are at the mercy of fate, set in a beautiful landscape, and begins with a “goodbye.”
