The fifth installment of the event “Grooving Night” hosted by SIRUP will be held on March 29th (Saturday) at the Orix Theater in Osaka.
Based on the concept of “Let’s have a groove-filled night before going to bed,” SIRUP and guest artists will deliver live performances, talks, and sessions from a stage designed to resemble a “relaxing room at night.” So far, guests have included iri (vol.1), OKAMOTO’S (vol.2), TENDRE (vol.3), and Ayumu Imazu (vol.4).

This time, the fifth time, SKY-HI, who is active in a wide range of activities including artist, producer, management, and CEO of the label BMSG, will appear as a guest. This will be the long-awaited first two-man live performance between SIRUP and SKY-HI, who have been close friends for some time and respect each other, as well as a talk that can only be heard here by the two wearing nightwear, as well as a special one-night-only session.
The talk is said to connect “music, society, and people” by talking about a wide range of topics, from each other’s songs to what they feel about society, and by sharing a space to think with listeners. In addition, this time, for the first time, there may be a call for talk themes from visitors.
Additionally, support for viewing with audiovisual disabilities will be introduced this time as well, and the permanent LGBTQ+ center “Pride Center Osaka” operated by Nijiiro Diversity, a certified NPO, will have a booth in the foyer of the venue. On the day of the event, there will be a “Grooving Night” photo booth and original goods sold only at the venue. Check them out as well.
