Tokimeki Records released the cover single “Tonight wa Hearty Party” today, November 20th (Wednesday).
Tokimeki Records started activities in the summer of 2019 as a project covering famous Japanese and Western music from the 80s and 90s with the concept of “creating nostalgic music set in the darkness of the city.”
This work is a cover work of the Christmas/party song released by Mariya Takeuchi in 1995. The vocalist features Hikari from Mime, who is familiar with Tokimeki Records. It is a gorgeous and groovy cover song that is faithful to the original song.
Furthermore, Tokimeki Records is scheduled to hold their first performance in Taiwan on November 23rd (Saturday) at THE WALL in Taipei. Featuring in “Sorrow”MANDARKwill also make a guest appearance.
