Taichi Shiozaki (“Saki” is officially spelled Tatsusaki):We’ve had so much fun these past 10 years! It’s all thanks to Ruki’s, and I think we can stay healthy because of everyone. Even when things are tough at work or school, people tell me that I can do my best, and on the contrary, those words have been a source of salvation for us, so I would like to continue to deliver happy times and spaces to everyone. .
Hitoshi Yoshida:We want to continue to hone our skills and deliver a good stage to everyone, and we will continue to do various M!LKs so that everyone who has been involved with M!LK can live a happy life. ■Goro Inagaki
Goro Inagaki’s stage play “No.9 – Immortal Melody”, which can be said to be his life’s work, will be performed for the fourth time. So this time, we listened to a story related to Beethoven’s music.
■Goro Inagaki interview (*excerpt)
Q. (In reference to Symphony No. 5 “Fate”) What is the most fateful encounter you have ever had?
After all, I always think that every encounter I have with a person is destiny, and I’ve always been connected to people I have connections with, both at work and in my personal life, so I’d like to think that it’s destiny. The word “fate” sounds so grand, but I feel like it’s actually an accumulation of small things. However, I think that there are a lot of things that are fateful when it comes to wine. Through wine, you can meet people, learn about history, and see alcohol differently. I think he taught me how to focus on one thing carefully, how to value that kind of time, and to put it a little exaggerated, it taught me things like spiritual richness. Also, I like wine and am interested in cooking, and I want to live in a house where I can display wine, but I think my life has changed. That’s why I feel like it was fate that I encountered wine through the drama “Sommelier” when I was around 25 years old, and wine has been a big part of what changed my life.
■Mayu Matsuoka x Sari Ito
Mayu Matsuoka and Sari Ito, who are active in movies and dramas, appear. This time, the podcast program “Otagai-samassu”, in which the two serve as personalities, will hold a public recording event. So, “JUNON” took a look behind the scenes of the popular program. Please pay attention to the real talk between the two, who say they are always good friends.
■Mayu Matsuoka x Sari Ito Interview (*Excerpt)
Ito:This program started with the idea that we don’t get to see each other very often, so let’s make it work.
Matsuoka:oh yeah. But Sari is busy, and I feel bad inviting her when she’s in the midst of her work. So, I didn’t want to force him to make time for me, but I wanted to meet him, so I created an opportunity to meet him unconditionally (lol).
Ito:That’s why I thought it would be great if the things we talked about in real life flowed through the talk and everyone enjoyed it. I don’t think about it, but it might just become a rule.
Matsuoka:Speaking of other things that the show is particular about… drinking coffee?
Ito:surely! Mayu brings coffee, so it feels like the two of us are having tea together. It feels like the conversation at that time is flowing.
Matsuoka:Although we meet regularly on the show, we still haven’t had any success in having dinner or after-recording.
Ito:You can do it today, right?
Matsuoka:You can do it!
Ito:Well then, let’s play after today as well (lol).
■Takumi Nishigaki
In the special feature, Takumi Nishigaki appears. Nishigaki’s omelet rice is said to have a slightly sweet Gap Moe flavor. Nishigaki is also seen in an apron, which is hard to see.
■Interview with Takumi Nishigaki (*excerpt)
To begin with, I love cooking, so when omelet rice was served at home, I got really excited. When I get home after fencing practice or a match and someone says, “I’ll have omelet rice for dinner,” that’s it! (laughs) When it comes to meals eaten at home by all four members of my family, the two that come to mind are sukiyaki and hot pot. I think there were a lot of dandan sesame nabe and kimchi nabe. Partly because everyone liked spicy food, it was delicious to add ramen noodles at the end. Celebrate your birthday with hand-rolled sushi. The ingredients are laid out on the table, and each person picks out what they like. Negitoro and avocado were a must! What I particularly liked was the ginger-grilled pork…I guess? Pork grilled with a slightly flavorful sauce. Seaweed, rice, sanchu, pork. It was so delicious to eat this together!
■Nihama Leon
Leon Niihama, who is becoming more and more popular, will also appear in the special feature as he is scheduled to appear on NHK’s “Kohaku Uta Gassen.” This time, I made pork soup with lots of Japanese yam. Niihama holding a ladle is also nice.
■Leon Niihama Interview (*excerpt)
To be honest, I haven’t cooked properly in the past year. This is because I often go to rural areas and I couldn’t buy ingredients because they would spoil. Meanwhile, today I made pork soup, and my body remembers it. It’s been a while since I cooked, but it was okay (lol). My mother is a cooking teacher, so she cooks a lot of different dishes for me, but this time I chose pork soup because I thought it was easy to make in one pot, packed with vegetables, and nutritious. The pork soup we make at home is full of vegetables and meat, and it also has Japanese yam, a local specialty of Shirai City, which is an important flavor to me. I’ve been eating Japanese yam on pork soup since I was a child, so I thought it was normal. Wild yam is perfect for the upcoming season when you want to strengthen your immune system. With tenacious Japanese yam that is packed with the power of the earth, everyone will be running towards the end of the year! (LOL)
■Daiharu Fukumoto
Daiharu Fukumoto makes his first appearance in “JUNON”. Fukumoto celebrated his 25th birthday in October, and we held a slightly late birthday party. We asked him about his birthday memories and his goals for his 25th birthday.
■Interview with Daiharu Fukumoto (*excerpt)
Maybe when I was 20 years old. My father really likes pudding, but I don’t like it that much. My father seemed to want to say, “You like what I like too, right? You’re just like me,” so he tried to force me to like pudding. I kind of noticed that, so I said, “I like it,” and a hall pudding cake came out… It was delicious, but I felt like I shouldn’t tell you what I didn’t really like (lol). The happiest gift I received was the DS I received when I was in first grade! We had a rule that we could only receive one present per event, so we had about two months to receive the cassette. The joy I felt when I waited for it was exceptional!
