NOT WONK released their new single “Changed” today, November 20th (Wednesday).
NOT WONK is based in Tomakomai and currently consists of Shuhei Kato (Gt./Vo.) and Takamutsu Takahashi (Dr.). In June of this year, an in-depth feature on Kato was broadcast on NHK General Hokkaido, and in October, Kato also attracted attention when he held “FAHDAY 2024” with local friends.
This work is the first advance single from the 5th album scheduled to be released on February 5th (Wednesday) next year. “Asshole (Unplugged Mix)”, released in March of this year, was in the form of vocals, but this work is in a band format, and is based on the departure of Kohei Fujii (Bas.), which was announced in October. It is a symbolic bassless song.
Furthermore, a one-man tour featuring the new album will be held on February 27th (Thursday) next year at Shibuya CLUB QUATTRO performance in Tokyo. Details of the new album will be announced at a later date. Let’s look forward to the next report.
