Mizuki Ohira releases her new single “How are you feeling?” today, November 20th (Wednesday). A teaser video was also released.
This is their first new song in about a year, and is a smoky and soulful song featuring track maker 1Co.INR. This work expresses Mizuki Ohira’s worldview in a deeper and more alternative way.
Ohira also established his own label, Fetanu, in order to deepen and broaden his expressiveness and range of activities. This work is a new start that can be called the second chapter of his career, and it is also a song that makes you feel that he is expressing his beliefs. The song incorporates elements of soul, R&B, alternative, and hip-hop that have influenced her, and is a very personal glimpse into Mizuki Ohira’s current state.
The artwork and new artist visuals are created using a method called lithography printing, and are said to be a work that expresses the joy of accumulating and chemical changes through repeated experiments in an actual lithography studio.
Additionally, they are currently working on a new album for release in 2025. An event to commemorate this release will be held at Nihonbashi CITAN in Tokyo on Saturday, December 7th.In addition to a live performance and listening party where you can listen to the album songs in progress, there will also be artwork production. An exhibition of lithography is planned to give a glimpse of the process.
