“Utagoe wa Mille-feuille” new unit “Parabola” debuts! Anime key visual released! The first event will be held on March 2nd!

“Utagoe wa Mille-feuille” (hereinafter referred to as “Utamil”), which started in April 2022, has become a hot topic for its outstanding a cappella performances and high-quality story, and is scheduled to be made into a TV anime in 2025. A new unit “Parabola” (Yomi: Parabola) will debut on November 20th, following the main characters of “Utamil” “Temarizawa High School Acapella Club”. The memorable 1st single “BRAIN HACK” has been released.

Parabola’s members include current Utamama voice actors Moeka Koizumi, Nao Higashiyama, and Yoshino Aoyama, as well as Asaka, who is active as an anime song singer, and won first place in Japan in the human beatbox female competition. It is a fitting lineup to celebrate KIYOZO, the strongest university a cappella band.

The first single includes the original song “BRAIN HACK”, and the coupling song is an a cappella arrangement version of YOASOBI’s “Yusha”. It generated a lot of reaction on social media, with comments such as “Is this really made up of only human voices?”, “It’s so vivid as a debut song for an adult’s cool route!!”, and “Isn’t the debut song too impactful? It’s the best”. There is.

In particular, the music video for “Yusha – A Cappella Arranged Version” features the members giving an amazing performance, so pay attention not only to the sound source but also to the visuals.

Then, the second key visual for the TV anime was released on Parabola’s live broadcast program. In contrast to the a cappella club in the first key visual, the Parabola members are depicted with cool expressions, making the visual look like an archetype of a music artist. Furthermore, it was announced that the first event “Parabola Event I – Paradigm Shift -” will be held on March 2, 2025. Four members, Moka Koizumi, Asaka, Nao Higashiyama, and Yoshino Aoyama, will appear and perform readings and talks.
