KILLSWITCH ENGAGE has decided to release their 9th original studio album “This Consequence” next year on February 19, 2025 (distribution will be on February 22), their first in about five and a half years!

Vocalist Jesse Leach has this to say about this album: “For me, ‘This ‘Consequence’ is a combination of everything we’ve been through over the last five years, as a band, as people, and as a society as a whole.This album is as much a story of a personal journey for me. It’s also the story of all the members.Musically, I love the fusion of everyone’s ideas and contributions. It’s in. It feels more cohesive than the last few albums. I didn’t feel like we needed to change anything about this album after it was finished. I’m honored and proud of what we’ve all been able to create and refine through this music and message.”

The music video for the first single “Forever Aligned” from the new album has been released! Leech describes the song as follows: “‘Forever Aligned’ is one of those songs about not only our love and connection as humans, but also our connection to the unknown, a greater power, the universe, and God.
