L'Arc~en~Ciel releases music clip for new song "YOU GOTTA RUN"! Photographed in Shibuya, where development is progressing

The music clip for L’Arc~en~Ciel’s new song “YOU GOTTA RUN” has been released.

“YOU GOTTA RUN” is the opening theme for the anime “BEYBLADE X” currently being broadcast on TV Tokyo.

The music clip was shot in mid-September at the demolition site of the former Shibuya Tokyu Department Store main store, where the “Shibuya Upper West Project” is being developed with the goal of completion in 2027. .

It was said to be a large-scale shoot that included a huge circular floating object and a stage set in a valuable location that was currently in the process of being dismantled and could only be filmed, and that hundreds of extras recruited from dancers and fan club members also participated.

The sound that suddenly leaked out from the middle of Shibuya made passersby stop and ask, “L’Arc!?” and “Eh, a live show!?”, and SNS was flooded with sightings and became a hot topic.

The music clip includes a live scene in which L’Arc~en~Ciel performs for an audience dressed in black, a video of dancers wearing futuristic masks performing against a backdrop of the city, and a dynamic drone shot from above. Contains some great cuts.

Additionally, L’Arc~en~Ciel will hold their first Tokyo Dome performance in about three years on January 18th and 19th, 2025. As the title of the performance “L’Arc~en~Ciel LIVE 2025 hyde BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION -hyde birthday festival-” suggests, it will be a birthday celebration for hyde (Vo), whose birthday is on January 29th, and hyde said, “I’m selfish.” He commented, “I will produce L’Arc~en~Ciel.”
