■The singing division has been newly established, and although there are three people, the singing voices are pleasantly harmonized.
It has been decided that Yuzu will release her collaborative song “Chururi (feat. Takako Matsu)” with actor Takako Matsu on November 27th.
“Chururi” was written by Yuzu as the new Nissan Sakura commercial song in which Matsu appears. Yuzu also made a cameo appearance in the commercial, and a three-person version of Yuzu and Matsu was used as a CM exclusive. Originally, only the parts used in the commercial were recorded, but since they were from the same generation, the three of them hit it off even though they met for the first time at the time of recording.
After that, Yuzu side offered to sing the full-length song “Chururi” again. Matsu readily agreed to this, and they recorded it again at Yuhito Kitagawa’s private studio. The singing division has also been newly established, and “Chururi (feat. Takako Matsu)” has been born, with three voices singing in harmony.
Yuzu has released sung songs with other artists such as “Irotoridori” with Ikimonogakari, which was specially included in the 20th anniversary best album “Yuzu Iroha” in 2017, “Sayonara Bus” with back number, and SEKAI. It has been about 7 years since “Umbrella of Sadness” with NO OWARI. In addition, this is the first time in about three years that a song sung by Matsu has been released since “Presence”, which was released in 2021 under the name STUTS & Takako Matsu.
