JIMIN won the “FANS’ CHOICE OF THE YEAR” at the “2024 MAMA AWARDS” held at Kyocera Dome Osaka on November 22nd. JIMIN won a trophy in one of the four grand prize categories of MAMA, proving his world-class popularity.
With this, JIMIN won the main award as a solo artist in 2023, and then the grand prize in 2024, making him the second consecutive award winner.
RM, V, JIMIN, and JUNG KOOK swept the awards in the 2024 MAMA’s “FANS’ CHOICE MALE TOP 10” and became a hot topic.
JIMIN’s 2nd solo album “MUSE”, released in July 2024, ranked 2nd on the US Billboard’s main album chart “Billboard 200″. The album’s title song “Who” went straight to the Billboard song chart “HOT 100” (No. 12), proving its great popularity. JIMIN has been on both Billboard’s main charts for 17 consecutive weeks and continues to record strong results.
JIMIN also set a new record on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming service. “Who” achieved 1 billion streams in the shortest time among the songs released by a Korean singer in 2024, based on the chart dated 13th. Among the K-pop songs released in 2024, “Who” is the only song to have surpassed 1 billion views.
