Tokimeki Records holds one-man show at Billboard Live YOKOHAMA

It has been decided that Tokimeki Records will hold a solo performance at Billboard Live YOKOHAMA in Kanagawa on Tuesday, January 28th.

Tokimeki Records started in 2019 as a music project that covers famous Japanese and Western music from the 80s and 90s, with the concept of “delivering nostalgic music set in the darkness of the city.”

So far, she has attracted attention both domestically and internationally with covers by Miki Matsubara, Akina Nakamori, Kylie Minogue, and others, and in 2022 she will release her first full-length album “Transparent Girl” consisting only of original songs. Since then, he has been constantly releasing works, and recently, on November 20th (Wednesday), he released a cover of Mariya Takeuchi’s “Tonight wa Hearty Party”. Furthermore, they successfully held their first one-man live at The Wall Live House in Taipei, Taiwan, and also performed at Taiwan’s Roving Nation FEST.

This is the first live performance in Japan in a while, and it will feature a full band including MELRAW, with Hikari, singer of the neo-soul band Mime, Natsu Summer, and JU!iE participating as vocalists.
