Naniwa Danshi to Ae! group’s first regular regular program “Naniwa Danshi to Ae! Kaze Fukimasu!” aired from November 2019 to March 2021. ”. The two groups, who have yet to debut, have taken on various projects in order to grow into the next generation of stars.
Three and a half years have passed since then, and I’ve written the song “Naniwaka Ae! I’ll let the wind blow!” ～A SP that delivers the charms of Kansai from land, sea, and air～” will be revived for one night only. It will be broadcast on Kantele (Kansai local) from 7pm on November 29th.
During the regular program era, Naniwa Danshi’s
Kento Nagao and Joichiro Fujiwara (both from Naniwa Danshi), Keita Richard Kusama and Ken Kojima (both from Ae! group) are taking on the challenge of “Aim for 4 consecutive strikes!Takoyaki bowling.”
This event is held under a special rule in which four people take turns throwing a ball, and if they fail to land a strike, they must eat a piece of takoyaki.
The challenge begins with Richard, who has not played bowling in 10 years. Fujiwara commented on the pitch, saying, “That’s the best curve in 10 years (lol).” After that, Kojima, Nagao, and Fujiwara follow, and the four of them aim to achieve the miraculous “four strikes in a row,” which is said to have a success rate of “1 in 10,000 (for regular men *according to program research)”.
After filming on location, Fujiwara said, “The name ‘Takoyaki Bowling’ made me think of Kansai (laughs). It was the first time the four of us went bowling together, and I think it was a project that brought the Kansai spirit to the forefront. There will be an accident, so please look forward to it!”
Richard said with satisfaction, “It was a refreshing location that felt like a cross between “Naniwa Handsome Gakuen” and “Ae! Otokojuku.” He went on to say, “While it was tough to keep throwing and eating, there were also scenes where I was required to have the sparkle that befits an idol.At the time, Naniwa Danshi and Ae! I was a little embarrassed when it came to messing around (lol). It’s been 10 years since I bowled, but I was able to do it even after such a long gap,” he said, expressing his gratitude.
Nagao said, “When I was a regular, I didn’t have any locations with Ae! group, so it was a lot of fun! I usually go bowling with Kojiken (Kojima), but I’ve never done it this seriously, so it was fun and it felt like my private life was being filmed.” Kojima said with a wry smile, “It’s been a long time since I shot on location with Naga-chan (Nagao), and we were able to move around without worrying about the camera, so I felt a lot more free again (lol).” He continued, “I was nostalgic for the takoyaki that was like, “Naniwaka Ae! I’ll make the wind blow!” but it was tough because I’ve never eaten it like this before (lol).It’s been a while since I’ve been on such a tough location.”
In addition, regarding the return of the long-awaited special program, Fujiwara said, “I’ve always wanted to do it!” I think Ae! group’s debut this year was a big trigger. I’m really happy that you warmed up to me.” Nagao also commented, “I’m really happy that both groups made their CD debut and came back for the first time in three and a half years! I think it’s going to be a great show.”
Richard continued, “I’ve been saying this for a long time, so finally! I heard that they were keeping the costumes, so every time I met the staff, I was like, “Let’s do this quickly!” “(lol)” Kojima revealed, “When I walked in front of the dressing room wearing the costume for the first time in a while, the staff at the time called out to me and said, “You look so emotional.” Just putting my sleeves through it brings back memories of those days.I enjoyed it just as much as I did back then, so I thought it was a great program again.”
Finally, Fujiwara said, “I thought things would be tough after three and a half years, but I felt relieved after seeing the familiar staff members, so I was able to bring out the best friend side of the four of us.Not only for the fans, but for us as well.” I have been waiting for this day for a long time, so this is my CD debut.
