Digital distribution of The Powerpuff Boys’ third single “POPSCREAM” began at midnight on November 27th.

The Powerpuff Boys are a dance group that has become a hot topic for their unforgettable dance choreography, such as SEKAI NO OWARI’s “Habit” and ano’s “Chu, Divergence.”, but they also release original songs.

Their 1st single “Tsume Kawaii” conveys the happiness of “I love every day when my tsume is cute!”, and their 2nd single “Uchira no Kachi” uses their greeting phrase as its title, making any place their own world. He showed off his strength to change and his overwhelming dance skills, inviting us to the Butiage World.

The third new song “POPSCREAM” is a classic cheering song with a completely different taste from the previous two songs. Accompanied by uplifting horn music that feels like the opening of a musical, it is packed with phrases that will cheer you up and affirm that everything will be okay, illustrating the “poppy and pop world” that they want to deliver. Regarding the new song, AO said, “It’s a song that gives me power and pushes me to be myself and to remind myself that I’m beautiful just the way I am!As I live my life every day, there are times when I can’t do my best, but even in those times, I’ll always be there for you.” I hope it becomes a song to accompany the song.”

The lyrics were also co-written by the three members, and AO said of his favorite phrase, “I love the part called “Dosiraso Fanfare”! Just the words alone make a fun scene come to mind and it makes me feel good!” KAN said, “The part after that, “So let’s dance, like a cover, like a mistake, like an idiot”! I’ve never heard of a song where the lyrics are mistaken in the chorus (lol) I think it’s typical of Powerpuff that they do something stupid like that, even though they could have said something better in the chorus!”

The new song “POPSCREAM” will be performed for the first time at the Powerpuff Boys’ 1st one-man show “THE POP!!” to be held at IM A SHOW in Tokyo on November 27th and at YES THEATER in Osaka on November 29th.
