Toko Furuuchi’s two popular albums, “Futsu no Koto” and “CASHMERE MUSIC,” released during her tenure at Pony Canyon from 2003 to 2007, will be released as her first analog records on August 3rd. did.
2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the release of the album “Futsu no Koto”. This work also includes band-arranged songs self-produced by sound producers Hitoshi Harukawa, Shin Kono, and Toko Furuuchi herself. The song tells ten stories of “meetings and partings between men and women” and “happy love” that make you feel like you’re watching a movie. An evergreen sound that will never fade even if you listen to it 20 years later. It is full of songs that continue to be performed live.
Specifications are limited edition / 2 LP set / clear pink edition / with obi and gatefold jacket.
SIDE D includes four bonus tracks from Sapporo City Clock Tower Acoustic Live: “My Universe,” “OK, OK,” “Hoshizora,” and “Awayuki” (not included on CD).
In addition, “CASHMERE MUSIC” released in 2005 is the 14th original album created with four arrangers: Toshiyuki Mori, Shin Kono, Yuta Saito, and Ryuji Yamamoto. A wide range of musical arrangements, from standard urban AOR numbers, catchy 80’s sounds, and funky songs to electro and hip-hop sound approaches, combined with Furuuchi’s unique world of wistful poetry, will create a new album. It also suggests a new direction.

SIDE D includes a bonus track, “Somewhere in TOKYO” (not included on CD), the first collaboration song with Kirinji’s Takaki Horikomi, and Cappuccino’s, known as a new pop group formed in 1981 by the duo of Yu Aku and Shunichi Tokura. Contains a cover of “Lily from 9 o’clock” (not included on CD).
The cutting engineer for both records is Katsutoshi Kitamura of MIXER’S LAB.
Furthermore, a high-quality Blu-spec 2CD (bonus track included only on analog records) will be reissued on July 24th prior to the analog record, so please keep an eye out for that as well.

The two albums, “Futsu no Koto” and “CASHMERE MUSIC,” which have now been made into analog discs, are very carefully crafted and have a lot of fond memories, even when I remember back then.
