iri releases MV for latest single “Pick you up” Depicting everyday life in a cinematic and pop style

The music video for iri’s latest single “Pick you up” released on Wednesday, November 13th has been released.

This work will be featured in the large-scale one-man performance “iri Presents ONEMANSHOW “East/West”” held on November 23rd (Saturday) at Osaka International Conference Center Grand Cube Osaka Main Hall and today, November 28th (Thursday) at Tokyo Garden Theater. A song created for. Featuring grooveman Spot, who has also worked on “CAKE” and “friends” in the past, this is the freshest house track in iri’s history.

It’s a pleasant song with a light groove that creates a sense of unity with the audience, and it carries two messages: iri is going to pick up her fans from all over the country, and in addition, iri is going to pick up her past self. The song was given the title “Pick you up” because of the lyrics it contains.

The music video was directed by Masaki Watanabe, who has worked on videos for Creepy Nuts, SIRUP, and Bring Me The Horizon, as well as advertising for brands such as Dior, VALENTINO, and MIU MIU. Although it depicts iri’s day in a lighthearted manner, it is a cinematic and pop image that can be projected not only on iri’s day but also on other people’s daily lives.
