NiziU/RIMA “Mezamashi TV” appointed as entertainment presenter in December! “We will bring you a happy morning with our charming voice!”

It has been decided that NiziU and RIMA will be appointed as entertainment presenters for Fuji TV’s “Mezamashi TV” in December.

RIMA is scheduled to perform four times on December 6th, 11th, 18th, and 24th.

“Mezamashi TV” monthly entertainment presenters are people who are active in the entertainment world, such as actors, idols, comedians, etc., who started in June 2018 on “Mezamashi TV”, Fuji TV’s representative morning information program. My role was to develop the corner as a presenter. In addition to the entertainment corner at 6 o’clock, he will read the live manuscripts of “Imadoki” and “Mezamashi Rock Paper Scissors,” and from 7 o’clock he will appear as MC until the end of the program. Together with announcer Shinichi Karube, who is in charge of entertainment, he will convey various entertainment news.

RIMA has a reputation for high performance as a rap member of NiziU, and is well known for her charming character and catchphrase of “charming voice.” When he first heard that he was appointed as the monthly entertainment presenter for “Mezamashi TV”, he expressed his surprise and joy at being selected, saying, “I was really surprised and thought, “Is it really me!?” but I was happy!” “It’s going to be a cold season, but I’ll do my best to bring everyone a bright and happy morning!” He expressed his enthusiasm for his appearance and also gave a message to the viewers.

NiziU is currently holding their third and first “Winter Tour” nationwide live tour “NiziU Live with U 2024-2025 “AWAKE”, and plans to release their 1st mini album “AWAKE” in February 2025. I am planning to do so.

■RIMA (NiziU) Comment
Q. How did you feel when you first heard that you were appointed as an entertainment presenter?
RIMA: I was really surprised and thought it was me!, but I was happy. It’s my first time working alone without any other members by my side, so I’m very nervous, but I want to do my best! The members were a little worried (lol), but they encouraged me and said, “Have fun.”
Q. Are you good at getting up early?
RIMA:I’m the biggest sleeper in NiziU, so the members always wake me up. I’m worried because there’s no one to wake me up this time, but I can leave within 2 minutes of waking up (lol) so I’ll never be late!
Q. What is your image of “Mezamashi TV”?
RIMA: I always watched it while eating breakfast before going to school. The bright orange image of the studio was soothing to “Kyo no Wanko”.
Q. Is there anything in particular you would like to do as an entertainment presenter?
RIMA:This will be my first attempt at reading a manuscript, but my catchphrase is “NiziU’s attractive voice – RIMA,” so I’ll do my best to read it with an attractive voice. I love eating, so I’d like to do a food report as well.
Q. What is your impression of the light club announcers who share the entertainment corner?
RIMA:When we met on a singing show together, he had a warm aura, and during our talk, he kindly looked into my eyes and spoke to me, so I think it’s reassuring. On “Mezamashi TV”, I get the impression that he is the father of the program.
