Accusefive, a three-man band that is attracting attention in Taiwan, will hold their first one-man show in Japan! Live report of a packed Zepp Yokohama performance

Accusefive, a pop-rock band now extremely popular in Greater China, performed a live show at KT Zepp Yokohama on November 22nd. The tour including this live is

Zepp Yokohama was a huge success with the arena packed and the second floor packed as well. When the lights went dark, the designed logo mark was projected on the screen and the members appeared. Drums/percussionist Tetsuken (Richard) is already in a good mood. Vocalist Chuen Qing captivates with her beautiful figure in a charming white mini dress and black boots. And Yun Ahn, who is in charge of songwriting and songwriting on guitar and vocals, also appeared quickly. Only three people won the spot, and the contest began with “How much do you know about the melon?” This song was included as the first track on the debut EP “Let go” by the five members of the band, and I remember thinking at the time that it was a cool song and that a good band had come out, so I was impressed by the edge. Effective rock. Cool even live. The history of five people has begun.

Supporting musicians on this day were Banmas’ veteran bassist Yometen, keyboardist Qian Weiliang, and guitarist Ogakuro. The sound created by a total of six people was much heavier than I expected, and I felt that they had solid playing ability. Additionally, the vocals of Chuen Ching and Yun An are sung in unison at times, which adds to the depth of the song. They played and sang heartfelt music with a strong presence typical of the five members who have performed at stadium-level concerts.

There is no doubt that Kougonin is a band that is very active in mainstream China today, and has gained popularity through overwhelming media and advertising exposure. The heartfelt lyrics and unforgettable melody certainly have a Chinese aesthetic feel to them. In fact, when I said the title, the audience was screaming and singing along. A true star of the royal road.

On the other hand, what’s interesting about Gogo’s music is that with a little arrangement, you can hear a variety of sounds. For example, their signature song “Somewhere in time” has a guitar phrase reminiscent of Tears for Fears, and “Your Guilt-trip” is their signature song. ”, you can also hear the sounds of the Caribbean, including the sounds of Cuba, steel pan, and calypso. Their newest song to date, “Beyond The Sea,” a song for the Taiwanese drama “Born to Shine,” which is currently available on Netflix, also has a South African feel to it.

Just when I thought I was going to hear about his commitment to music, a large stuffed pink pig was placed on the sofa, three people were sitting, and there was an acoustic guitar and percussion corner. Entertain and interact with customers through talks in a relaxed atmosphere.

Also, in this corner, the co-starring song “Hare Hi” with lyrics written by Dean Fujioka was sung with excellent Japanese pronunciation. Mt. Fuji and cherry blossoms were reflected on the screen behind me.

After the sofa corner, bubbles were shown on the screen for “You Are My Magic”, and Chuen Ching was about to blow bubbles and make them into the shape of a heart and give them to the audience. A cute performance with a cute song. By the way, the title of this tour, “Universal Yuku”, is said to be taken from the lyrics of this song.

This live show was quite long for Japan, but three hours has long been the norm for shows by stars in Greater China. Setting up various productions, changing costumes multiple times, and inviting guests during a single live performance is still practiced, especially among star artists, as is the tradition in China. Perhaps the five members of the Sengonin also performed various productions including sets on the big stage? I think so. I would like to see a stage like that next time.

In the second half, Chuen Ching was cute in a beautiful red mini dress and boots of the same color, and the men were dressed in jeans and tops, but for the encore, they looked casual in matching T-shirts, and once again the support musicians showed up. Introducing the staff, Yoon Ahn said, “I couldn’t have done it without them,” and bowed deeply toward the backstage. Chuen Ching then turns to the audience and adds: “But the most important thing is everyone.”

During the last song before the encore, “Mataten Black We Will Be Fine,” footage of the behind-the-scenes staff and hair and make-up staff creating the stage was played on the screen. Five people were saying words of gratitude over and over again. It’s probably his personality.

The main story is over and there is an encore. On the screen is the word “Anka”. Ah, encore, everyone shouts these words. “帶が了找夜life Night life.Take us to the light” is a rock song with a bit of Eurobeat feel, and “Zaiyozajoichi しし了你Where I Lost Us” has a dramatic melodious tune typical of them. When we interviewed them, they said that they also like vintage sounds, and it certainly felt like that.

Recently, live concerts are being held in Japan that are aimed at Chinese people who live in Japan or have come to Japan. I went there a few times, and of course most of the talks were in Chinese, so it was honestly a sad time for Japanese people who didn’t understand it. But people from the Chinese region come to see us, so we can enjoy live performances at large venues. I’m sure that in the near future these five members will perform on a bigger stage, on the same scale as in other regions. It was so exciting.

At the end of the live performance, the five members said, “Thank you, thank you, we are…” and then, along with the audience, they said, “Go five members,” and left in good spirits.
