Bassist/vocalist Marko Hietala, who left NIGHTWISH in 2021, has announced that his new solo album “Roses From The Deep” will be released next year on February 7, 2025!
This is his first solo album since 2020’s “Pyre Of The Black Heart,” and it is said that elements of progressive rock, folk, and symphonic metal are seamlessly intertwined to create an album that transcends genres.
In addition, a new single “Impatient Zero” has been released from this work, along with a music video!

Commenting on the song, Marko Hietala says, “‘Impatient Zero’ is a song about the battle of being constantly attacked by the monsters within. And the terrible truth is that in this reality, people also see these monsters instead of their real faces. ” he commented.
