Hunting and Neibiss’ collaborative single “vacances” was released on November 30th (Sunday).
Hunting is a two-person artist group based in Gunma, consisting of rapper yank and beat maker/singer genta. Neibiss is a Kobe-based duo consisting of beat maker/DJ/rapper ratiff and rapper hyunis1000. This work, which is a double name single by two groups who have been in contact for some time, is a song that was created at Neibiss’ studio when Hunting visited Kobe. The title of the song is “vacances” (meaning “vacation” in French) because Hunting lyrically describes his feelings while driving from Gunma to Kobe and the scenery he got off on the way.
Ratiff’s calming bossa nova beat, yank and hyunis1000’s smart yet playful rapping, and genta’s enveloping hook harmonize perfectly. With an exquisite sense of balance in both singing and rapping, they express each other’s emotions directly.
