Shinki Sugao comment

I feel very happy to have been able to play a small part in GLAY’s long history of celebrating its 30th anniversary.

The content of the work is based on the famous song “HOWEVER”, and every day like this is not bad… life is fun because so many things happen, let’s live positively tomorrow! This is a work that makes you think.

I hope this song reaches many people!

Hinami Mori comment

My name is Hinami Mori and I will be appearing in the “HOWEVER” short movie. I myself listened to a lot of the songs, and the lyrics that gave me courage about the importance of encounters and partings, love and life really touched my heart. It was fun to watch the scene filled with constant laughter, as we worked together with Director Hata and cherished the sense of distance that we created with Mr. Sugao, who plays the lead role. I will never forget the kind and cheerful smile on my face the day I met Mr. Koizumi (lol). I hope it reaches people of all generations. May a gentle wind blow for everyone!

We hope that this memorable event will further deepen the bond between Hakodate City and GLAY, and serve as a place to spread the appeal of music and video.

Kotaro Koizumi comment

GLAY’s songs are special to me and can be said to represent my youth. It was my first time to have the valuable experience of acting within the worldview of that song, but I was able to spend a very comfortable and fulfilling time.

It was also a truly wonderful memory to be able to create this work together with the two dazzling leading actors.
