To commemorate this, POP-UP STORE “King & Prince POP UP STORE 2024 Re:ERA” will be held at 5 locations nationwide.
King & Prince entered their 6th anniversary year on May 23rd this year. To commemorate the release of the 6th original album “Re:ERA” CD on Wednesday, December 11th, POP-UP STORE “King & Prince POP UP STORE 2024 Re” will be held at 5 locations nationwide. :ERA’ will be held. The event will be held at UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE HARAJUKU in Tokyo from December 3rd (Tuesday) to December 15th (Sunday). Hokkaido will be at Sapporo PARCO 3F from December 11th (Wednesday) to December 29th (Sunday), Aichi will be at Nagoya PARCO South Building 10F from December 14th (Saturday) to December 29th (Sunday), and Osaka will be at Shinsaibashi PARCO 14th floor. PARCO GALLERY The event will be held from December 13th (Friday) to December 29th (Sunday), and from December 9th to December 29th at the event space on the 3rd floor of Hakata Marui in Fukuoka.
The pop-up store is inspired by the world of the music video for the lead song “WOW” provided by Daichi Miura, and features sporty T-shirts, socks, the patch used in the “WOW” music video, and the UNIVERSAL MUSIC logo. In addition to apparel items, 16 character figures drawn by member Takahashi, miscellaneous items, random trading cards, etc. will be sold. All products and store design details are produced by the members themselves. In addition, goods are also sold online at UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE.
In conjunction with the store opening, the King & Prince official YouTube channel is streaming an original animation “Planet Age” depicting the world of “Re:ERA.” The members themselves voiced the characters drawn by Takahashi, and King & Prince were responsible for writing, composing, scripting, directing, and starring. Produced by ODDJOB, who worked on the opening animations for “Good Morning Ninja Team Gatchaman”, “HikakinTV”, and “Wednesday’s Downtown”, etc., staff from the King & Prince team were also cast to provide the voices of the characters, making this an authentic yet experimental project. It is a work of art.
