King & Prince will hold POP-UP STORE in 5 locations nationwide to commemorate the release of their album “Re:ERA”

■The original animation “Planet Age” written, composed, scripted, directed, and starring King & Prince is now available!

To commemorate the release of King & Prince’s new album “Re:ERA” (pronounced: Ri-era), POP-UP STORE “King & Prince POP UP STORE 2024 Re:ERA” will be held at 5 locations nationwide.

The event will be held at UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE HARAJUKU in Tokyo from December 3rd to 15th. Hokkaido will be held at Sapporo PARCO 3F from December 11th to 29th, Aichi will be held at Nagoya PARCO South Building 10F from December 14th to 29th, and Osaka will be held at Shinsaibashi PARCO 14th floor PARCO GALLERY. The event will be held from December 13th to 29th in Fukuoka, and from December 9th to 29th at the 3rd floor event space of Hakata Marui.

The pop-up store is inspired by the world of the music video for the lead song “WOW”, which was provided by Daichi Miura. In addition to T-shirts, socks, the patch used in the “WOW” MV, and sporty apparel items featuring the UNIVERSAL MUSIC logo, there will also be 16 characters drawn by member Kaito Takahashi (officially known as Takahashi Godaka). We sell figures, miscellaneous items, random trading cards, etc. All products and store design details are produced by the members themselves. Goods are also sold online at UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE.

To coincide with the store opening, the King & Prince official YouTube channel is streaming an original animation called “Planet Age” depicting the world of “Re:ERA.” Members Ren Nagase and Takahashi voiced the characters drawn by Takahashi, and King & Prince were responsible for writing, composing, scripting, directing, and starring. Produced by ODDJOB, who worked on the opening animations for “Good Morning Ninja Team Gatchaman,” “Hikakin TV,” and “Wednesday’s Downtown,” the film is authentic yet experimental, with staff from the King & Prince team also cast to provide the voices of the characters. It is a work of art.

The new album “Re:ERA” is currently being distributed in advance. The CD will be released on December 11th.
