The movie “Oishikite Cry Toki”, in which Kento Nagao (Naniwa Danshi) stars for the first time in a feature film, will be released nationwide on April 4, 2025. Recently, a scene photograph of a painful moment of first love has been released.
The original work is a novel of the same name by Akio Morisawa, a popular author who has had a number of media mixes, including “Niji no Misaki Cafe”, which is the basis for the movie “The Tale of the Mysterious Cape” (2014). The director is Hatsuki Yokoo, who also directed Morisawa’s book “Whispering in a Quiet Voice” (2022), which is based on Morisawa’s book, and this is their second collaboration together.
Kento Nagao will play the main character, Shinya, and this will be his first leading role in a feature film. In addition, Ami Toma, who has achieved remarkable success by voicing the main character in the animated film “Kagami no Kojo” (2022) and was selected as the image character for the 14th commercial of “Calpis Water”, will play the heroine Yuuka.

Shinya is absent from club activities due to injury, and Yuuka is not involved in club activities. Since the two have some free time after school, their classmates appoint them as editors of the school newspaper. At first, the two were awkward, but they gradually warmed up to each other and formed a “Hima Club” with just the two of them. Shinya, who lost his mother when he was young, and Yuuka, who has a secret from her family.The two of them, who felt lonely, gradually become closer in the library, a secret base in Himabe.
And Shinya takes Yuuka to a place of his memories. The two sit on the breakwater and talk about their lives, and the two become even more acquainted, and the scene at sea becomes a turning point in the film. However, the story takes a turn after this, and Yuuka disappears from Shinya’s presence due to a certain incident.
Along with the refreshing yet heartrending moment of first love, the truth that will be revealed 30 years later will surely move your heart.
