&TEAM “Illumination” MV released & sound source distribution started

■The final chapter of the story that &TEAM tells through spring, summer, fall and winter

&TEAM has released the music video for “Illumination,” a song from their second album “Yukiakari,” which will be released on December 18th, and has also started distributing the sound source.

“Illumination” is a medium-tempo ballad about the feelings of boys who wish to continue to spend this moment of happiness and precious time together, surrounded by illuminations that are synonymous with winter. From the song “Big Suki (suki)” included in his previous digital single “Jyuugoya”, where he expressed his feelings directly in words, as the seasons have passed, the boy has become able to express his feelings through actions instead of words. ‘s growth is expressed in the lyrics, “I’ll continue to watch over you by your side.”

The production involved Soma Genda, who has been producing &TEAM since their debut, and knoak, who has worked on &TEAM’s songs such as “Chincha Funny” and “Sunflower (Imprinted)”.

The music video depicts the members in uniform preparing for an event at the school. As winter approaches, everyone goes out to the schoolyard to enjoy the snow that has begun to fall, decorates classrooms with lights, and plays in a magical classroom filled with snow falling from the windows. The result is a video that records the memories of the boys’ youth. At the end of the video, a blackboard with a haiku written on it, “Farewell to the snow-viewing place,” is displayed, giving a sense of hope and anticipation for the scenery that will be seen in the future.

The 2nd album “Yukiakari” includes 4 new songs including “Illumination”, as well as the 1st single “Samidare”, which was released as a story of boys coming together through spring, summer, autumn and winter, and the 2nd single “Samidare”. It will contain a total of 22 songs, including songs from “Aoarashi” and the digital single “Jyuugoya” as well as Korean versions. The official MV teaser for the title song “Yukiakari” will be released at 24:00 on December 14th.
