■The theme song is “I still”, which was composed by Milet as the heroine of this work, Minami Maezono.
The theme song and preview video for milet’s first movie “Shirai Kanojo” have been released. A poster visual for the book has also been released.
In the video released this timeRiku Kanbayashi(Kento Nakajima)Maezono Minami(milet) fall in love with each other at first sight and get married, but one morning the world suddenly changes in a well-paced story. Riku, who has become a popular novelist, and Minami, who has given up on her dream of becoming a singer, are shown in their daily lives and happily at their wedding, but suddenly, they are thrown into a world where they have never even met, and they become big stars. Riku is confused when he realizes that their relationship has changed to one of editors. With the help of his best friend Kajiwara (Kenta Kiritani), who kindly accepts him even in the other world, he believes that if he meets Minami again and they love each other, they can return to their original world, and he works hard to get everything back.
In a world where he has lost Minami, Riku reflects on himself for not being able to take good care of her, but Minami’s partner in this world, music producer Tadokoro (Hidekazu Majima), tells him, “What she needs is… “It’s not you, don’t show your face again,” he said, adding further insult to injury. Will Riku be able to regain his happy life with Minami?
“I still” sung by Minami Maezono adds emotional color to the preview video. This song, which is sung as an unreleased song during the live scene in the movie, is a theme song written by Milet himself. Minami’s overflowing feelings pierce deeper into the hearts of the viewers, and the final message of “In a world of what-ifs, we will know love” will be engraved in our hearts.
After a fateful encounter, the song calls out to Riku, who realizes his true love through miscommunication and failure, “I’m here.” It always stays close to Riku and Minami’s life, and influences the fate of their love. It continues to be an important item. Please also pay attention to the theme song “I still”, which evokes sadness and emotion with its lyrics and melody that make you feel like you are watching over the couple.
In addition, the teaser visual, which became a hot topic with the cute expressions of Riku and Minami as soon as it was released, features the key characters of this work, Riku’s best friend Kajiwara (Kenta Kiritani) and Minami’s grandmother Kazue (Jun Fubuki). A poster visual with additional stills has also been released. Furthermore, Mubichike will be released from December 13th. It will be sold at screening theaters nationwide (excluding some theaters), Meijer mail order site, and MOVIE WALKER STORE. We have also received comments from Kento Nakajima and milet regarding this song.
■Kento Nakajima comment
・Listen to the theme song “I still”
It was an important song written by milet after carefully reading his work, so I tried to spend the filming period with the words and melody that milet created in my heart. I was there. I was able to really feel their courage and love, and even when I was acting face-to-face, my heart was moved when I heard the songs, and right from the beginning (of filming), I was one step away from crying. I thought that he was a person who had a magnetic attraction to music that was almost overwhelming. The title “I still” has a really wonderful meaning, and the filming period was filled with good melodies and good words. It really touched my heart, both as Riku and Kento Nakajima.■milet comment
・Thoughts on music production
It was the first song I created after reading the script, and it represents my honest feelings towards this work. I think a song like this was born because Riku and Minami are connected somewhere in their hearts no matter what world they go to. Even when I sing it, I think it’s a song that Minami and I made together, something that Milet hasn’t done before. I feel like I was able to create a song that I love and cherish, and I also listened to this song to prepare myself for the set. I made this song thinking that it would be great if I could leave the aftertaste (of the movie) to this song, so I was very happy when Director Miki said, “This is the only song I can think of!”
・About singing as Minami Maezono, who played the role
In the singing scenes in the movie, I tried to change the way I say the words a little bit. The pronunciation of the words is a little different from what I’ve been singing as Milet so far, and I’ve taken out the Milet clause a little, so that I can sing with Minami’s honest and pure feelings. I was trying my best to sing in a way that would reach people.
