Half a century since its formation…the early days of Safe Zone, which presents valuable footage and sound sources from before their debut.

Koji Tamaki continues to have a unique presence in the Japanese music world. Since the 1980s, Anzen-Zen has been releasing hits with urban melodies such as “Wine Red Kokoro,” but its origins can be traced back to Asahikawa, Hokkaido, where Anzen-Zen was formed in the 1970s. Ta.

Making music in Asahikawa and attracting people to Asahikawa. In his youth, he renovated a farm equipment shed and played music while living in a training camp, but there were days when he struggled through crises such as illness and injury, and repeated member changes.

This time, we have conducted long interviews with Anzenzai members, former members, and related parties. Along with valuable footage and sound sources from his amateur days, we will remind you of Koji Tamaki, the “origins” of the safe zone, and the “passion” that Japan is forgetting today.

TERU and TAKURO appear from GLAY, whose members are all from Hakodate and will celebrate their 30th anniversary since their debut in 2024. A 72-minute special full of “30 years of love for Hokkaido” that you can talk about with MC Takayuki Suzui, an old friend since his debut.

In 1997, Takugin went bankrupt in Hokkaido. From the news of GLAY’s big break that came in that year, the music video shooting of the famous song “Winter, again” in the snowy fields of Biei Town, the Ishikari 100,000 person live concert in 2001, and the 50,000 person outdoor live show on Hakodate Midori Island in 2013. Back side. There’s also rare footage from an event Suzui appeared at in 2007 with the call to “Revitalize Yubari with the power of music!” and an unexpected collaboration with Suzui in the Hokkaido Shinkansen image song in 2016.

Furthermore, MC Moeka Tada will thoroughly examine the GLAY legend that remains in Hakodate. Is it polite even though it’s rock? Funny high school days. Did the hit song “HOWEVER” actually have a different title? Did he really write the graffiti on the wall of the “Origin” live house? Many surprising facts will be introduced one after another.

In addition, TERU’s painting atelier will be unveiled for the first time, saying, “Right now, love for Hakodate is the hottest thing.” There’s also a behind-the-scenes story behind the creation of the new theme song for TAKURO’s song and song, “Hokkaido Do.” “Sayonara wa Yasashii.”

If you watch this, you’ll love Hakodate and Hokkaido even more. GLAY’s 30-year history delivered with “120% Hokkaido Love”.

■TERU (GLAY)
I never thought I would go to junior high school (in my hometown of Hakodate). I will expose a lot of embarrassing things!

■TAKURO (GLAY)
Our love for Hokkaido is exploding, so please take a look.

■MC Takayuki Suzui
When we debuted, GLAY and I had the same radio program director, so they often appeared on my program. After that, I was able to make guest appearances at hall concerts, and I was also given the opportunity to perform the countdown at an outdoor concert in Ishikari. We have collaborated with many others from time to time.
I would like to express my respect for these guys who have been at the forefront of the Japanese music scene for 30 years. However, even now, the way he speaks to me in a friendly manner is the same as when he debuted. For me, they are “Hakodate’s older brothers.” It’s no different than back then. This is probably because Hakodate, Hokkaido, is a place where people can feel safe.
