A music video for the song has also been released.
Thursday – White Bikes (Official Music Video)
Geoff Rickly (Vo)’s comments are as follows.
“White Bikes” began with an idea from Norman Brannon. He came to us from one of our favorite bands, “TEXAS IS THE REASON”, and you can hear his unique style throughout this song. This song may be the first real takeaway of our “Thursday is the Reason” era. Fulfilling a lifelong dream of recording at Berlin’s famous Hansa Studio, the track was conceived by Stuart Richardson and is a nostalgic, upbeat, summery version of War All The Time. The lyrics deal with the loss of a dear friend, one of the first people I played music with. Before he got on his bike and disappeared, he asked to meet me, but I couldn’t make it to the meeting place. Now, every time I see a white bicycle on the road, I think of him.

SURPRISE! We’ve been blown away by your support this year: you’ve bought our merch, come to our shows, streamed our music. In April we dropped our first song in over a decade. Then in June we had the opportunity to spend some time at Hansa studios in Berlin, pic.twitter.com/VzFU7WVaij
