Yukiko Okada’s live recordings “First Concert “Koi Hajimemashite”” and “GIFT / 1984-1986 Live Tour Box” will be released on December 25th. In addition, details such as the jacket, songs included, and product specifications were also announced.
This work is a cassette tape recording of live sound sources from concerts and four tours held by Yukiko Okada over a period of about two years from 1984 to 1986, all line-out recordings from a PA mixer table. Based on these, detailed adjustments and mastering were performed using the latest technology, and each valuable performance was recorded in almost its entirety.
The regular edition “First Concert “Koi Hajimemashite” includes the entire Osaka performance, including the encore and talk, on the first day of the precious first tour, which was held only at two locations in Tohaka.
The limited edition “GIFT / 1984-1986 Live Tour Box,” available only at Pony Canyon Shopping Club, includes two CDs each containing sound sources from concerts and four tours held during her career. This is a deluxe limited box set that includes a total of 8 CDs and 4 hard-to-obtain tour pamphlets reprinted in A4 size. The outer box also includes a 24-page booklet containing valuable materials, including costume design images from each tour, stage set design images, and his own handwritten illustrations, some of which are quoted from the visuals.
This work includes the talk during the live performance, which is usually cut out in live works, and is full of charm that evokes the concert experience at the time, along with the realistic sound source. Please take this opportunity to experience the charm of Yukiko Okada.
