The 9th advance cut from Nogizaka46’s Mao Gohyakujo’s 1st photo book “How to make the future” (released on January 21, 2025) has arrived.
What has been released this time is a cut that clearly explains why Iojo wanted to shoot his photo book in Portugal.
Portugal is said to be one of the settings for the movie “Kiki’s Delivery Service,” which is famous for its five hundred castles. Gohyakjo is dressed in a navy blue dress and ribbon inspired by Kiki, the protagonist of the work, and is relaxing on an observation deck overlooking Lisbon’s old town. It is a “fulfilling cut” that captures the moment when the wish of “to feel like a witch’s house” came true.

This is why I chose Portugal as my travel destination…
The reason I chose this place was because I wanted to be Kiki! What is it? Portugal is said to be one of the settings for Kiki’s Delivery Service, so I thought it would be possible to play in Portugal.
When the staff asked me if there was anything I wanted to do, I asked, “Would you like to become Kiki?” since I love Kiki’s Delivery Service, and she did.
Being able to walk the streets of Lisbon as Kiki is a lifelong memory. I was walking with Runrun ^^
There are many photos of her wearing this costume in the photo book, so I’d be happy if you could get your hands on it.
