Acidclank decides to release new AL “In Dissolve” An experimental piece that incorporates various elements

It has been announced that Acidclank will release their new album “In Dissolve” on February 5th (Wednesday).

Acidclank is a solo project by producer/SSW Yota Mori. In addition to performing at the “FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL” in 2021 and 2022, they moved their base of activities from Osaka to Tokyo from 2023, and have been actively working with support members such as Kentaro Nakao, formerly of NUMBER GIRL. There is. He also has a side as a modular synthesizer player, and has shown movement across scenes, such as appearing in a solo set at the Tokyo Festival of Modular (TFoM), Japan’s largest modular synth trade show, last year.

In this work, the repetition and melodious sound image woven by minimal phrases of gamelan and synths lead the listener into a deep meditative state in the first half.The second half takes the listener further into the depths of the spirit through a variety of approaches such as drum’n’bass and dream pop. It is said that this is a work that is waiting for an exciting development. This is an experimental work that crystallizes Acidclank’s musical challenges, incorporating elements from a wide range of genres, including folk music, psychedelic trance, minimal techno, electro, and dream pop. The artwork was also created by Yota Mori himself, creating a worldview in which music and visuals come together.

Furthermore, it has been decided that a release party for this work, “acidplex (dissolution)”, will be held at CIRCUS Tokyo, Shibuya, Tokyo on Friday, March 7th.
