It has been decided that the music video for iri’s new song “Faster than me” will be premiered on YouTube at 10pm on December 16th.

“Faster than me” is the theme song of ABEMA’s original drama series “Wakakette mo the shapes of love” starring Ryusei Yokohama, which is being distributed for free on ABEMA and worldwide on Netflix. The delicate feelings of love are expressed in a mellow melody, reminiscent of the relationship between the main characters in the main drama. The lyrics and music were written by music producer Nariaki Obukuro.

This music video was directed by Kodai Kojima, who has also worked on feature films as well as music videos for Aimer, BUMP OF CHICKEN, The fin., VaVa, etc. The story is set in a ticket gate, and the story is told in one cut.

■Takahiro Kojima comment
We say goodbye at the ticket gate. I’ll watch your back.
Sometimes it would turn around and smile before it was out of sight, other times it would quietly disappear into the crowd.
If you had looked back then, I might not have been able to give up.
Today again, stories of farewells come and go through the busy ticket gates.
