Hokuto Yoshino (THE RAMPAGE)’s first starring role, director Tsutomu Eiji, and scriptwriter Osamu Suzuki’s movie “Suicide Note” has been released. ” will be released nationwide on January 31, 2025. The theme song for this work has been decided to be THE RAMPAGE’s “Drown Out The Noise.”
“Drown Out The Noise” was written specifically for this film and was selected by Yoshino himself from the demo. A song expressed through aggressive singing by the three vocalists of THE RAMPAGE.
Hokuto Yoshino (THE RAMPAGE), who was in charge of the theme song, wrote, “I have a lot of feelings for choosing it from the demo.”
When asked for their thoughts on the theme song, co-stars Ayara Shida, Kanade Matsui (IMP.), and Miona Hori praised the song, saying, “It was so cool!” Matsui commented, “If that song plays after the main story, I’ll tremble!” Also pay attention to the lyrics that are linked to the worldview of this work.

A special trailer featuring the theme song has also been released. The video opens with a scene in which the students suddenly receive an e-mail called <2-D Ranking> in which the entire class is ranked from 1st to 25th place, and the peaceful daily life is shattered by a single e-mail in which the class is mercilessly ranked. .
Tsubaki Himeyama, the envied number one in the pecking order, declares, “I will do my best to become a person worthy of being number one,” but she ends up taking her own life. Then, 24 suicide notes from Himeyama, addressed to each classmate, arrived. In order to get to the bottom of the suicide, each of the 2nd year Class D members will reveal their suicide notes in front of the entire class, but there is someone who would be inconvenient if their suicide notes were revealed…!?
In the second half, where the theme song “Drown Out The Noise” by THE RAMPAGE is played, the “black true faces of all 24 people” are revealed when their suicide notes are made public. Why did Himeyama commit suicide? Is the will real? And who is the mastermind behind the pecking order game? The song and the movie come together, and you can’t take your eyes off the thrilling story that unfolds from mystery to mystery.

The lyrics also include the word “pecking order,” and I think the song fits perfectly with the movie. I chose it from the demo and was involved in the production process, so I have a lot of fond memories of it.
