Takumi Kitamura (DISH//), who is a multi-talented actor and artist, has released all scene photos from the movie “I Stopped Conquering the World”, the first time he wrote and directed the movie.
This work is based on “World Conquest”, one of the representative songs by Wonderboy, a poetry rapper who passed away in an unexpected accident on June 23, 2011, while gaining attention for his unique sense of language and performance. This is a short film that Takumi Kitamura, who was strongly influenced by “Yameta”, wrote a script inspired by this song and directed himself.
It has been decided that the film will be released at Human Trust Cinema Shibuya and other theaters nationwide from February 7, 2025, and to commemorate this, all scene photos have been released.

A cut featuring a friendship appearance by Arata Iura, who readily accepted director Kitamura’s offer, has also been released. Iura will play the role of the owner of the izakaya that Kanata and Hoshino frequent.
The production team includes top creators such as Yasuhiko Shimizu, a filmmaker who worked with Kitamura on “Scroll” and DISH//’s “Plan A” music video, and Tomoyuki Kawakami, a photographer who has worked on everything from Pocari Sweat advertisements to shooting the movie “Satata”. . What Kitamura has achieved as a director through collaboration with multi-talented people is his ability to build a worldview — a high level of overall ability.
